I am so behind with Blogging, that I don't even feel guilty anymore.
We are here, and we are all fine. I got almost a whole day off this week, so I am actually more than fine (thanks DH - for buying me the season pass, and then giving me a day on my own to really use it).
But I do want to post a small update, so here are a couple of photos from the last few weeks that have made me smile.
Air travel. It was one of the roughest flights I have ever taken, but the girls were amazing. They loved every minute, and found the whole 'violent turbulence' experience rather thrilling (unlike their mother, who sat 5 rows back with her teeth clenched, her eyes closed, and gripping the seat in front for dear life). Once the flight was over several total strangers came up to compliment us on our amazing children.
Snow ploughs. Need I say more.
Dinosaurs. People often assume becasue Emily (age 4) loves blue, trains, and dinosaurs that she must be a real tom boy. But actually nothing could be further from the truth. Emily will only wear dresses and skirts, and her dinosaurs wear dresses too.
Boxes. Amazon ask us to rate the packaging they used on a recent delivery. My personal thoughts were that is was far too big, however the girls have pronounced it to be 'perfect'. They spend a lot of time hanging out and reading books in their cardboard box.
Winnie The Pooh. Emily still loves Pooh, and this is how she arranges her pillow almost every night. I used to try and replace all the Pooh's in the right way if I had to move them to change the bed, but I always got it wrong. So now I don't bother - Emily does it just the way she likes it, and her pillow always makes me smile.

Cute post! I love the dinosaurs and the Pooh bears.
ReplyDeleteI will be putting a letter in the post this weekend. Did Sofie get one from about a month ago? Heather asked me if she did, and I told her I had no idea. I hope so!
Cheers,
